Note to all contestants:

Student Officers and Student Directors are responsible for each event.  If you are competing in the performance it's still your responsiblity to cover that event.

We want to remind everyone that the event will not commence until a student director is on the arena floor with clip board in hand.

As a contestant it is helpful that you help your officers and directors in running the rodeo off in a timely manner.

We would also like to add that paying gate money helps produce the rodeo  - if it's an association rodeo then the money made goes to you the contestants in year awards, top 15 jackets, or possible added money to the finals.

If the rodeo is put on by our host city or individuals the gate money helps them cover the expenses of hosting our association.  It would be very respectful on you and your family's part to not argue about paying gate money.  It takes money and lots of labor hours to produce a succesful rodeo - let's show our appreciation by not arguing with the gate people.

TEAM ROPERS NOTICE:

If members would like to be included as helpers for the team ropers that do not have partners, please leave your name with Alycia Harmon as soon as possible.  You will need to identify if heading, heeling, or will help at either end.  Your name will be included in the draw pot for the contestants wishing to rope, but don't have a partner at this time.  If you are drawn you will not be eligible for points (if you are all ready entered in the team roping), but can win the jackpot money.  You will be helping your partner to win points for themselves in the team roping.

You are welcome to print the draw spreadsheets for your use during the rodeo.  Day sheets will also be available at the secretary's trailer this weekend.
